Is the Dual Action Cleanse Infomercial More Entertaining Than Carson Daly?

According to Derf Magazine, NBC and its affiliates say yes it is. Last Call with Carson Daly which normally airs at 1:35 A.M. will get bumped back to 2:05 A.M. to make room for a 30 minute Dual Action Cleanse infomercial. The late night saga has claimed yet another victim it seems. This new change will happen after the 2010 Winter Olympics conclude.

NBC had received complaints from its affiliate stations that the show was hurting their ratings and was also offending viewers. NBC President Jeff Zucker commented on this change by saying “We look forward to having this as our late night line up for many years to come.” Klee Irwin who hosts the Dual Action Cleanse infomercial said “I am thankful for the opportunity to continue spreading my message of colon health.  I hope there are no hard feelings with Mr. Daly, but the fact is his show was a terrible lead-in and was really hurting our ratings.  I do wish him well, however, and invite him to stop by sometime so we can discuss his stool size.” Hilarious if you ask me. Sorry Carson, infomercials are taking over.
